The Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona is right ahead, and more companies started announcing their participation.

The newest to confirm its presence in the Catalan capital is Samsung. The company sent an invitation to guests to “discover a new era of connected mobile devices” on 27th February, Sunday, at 7 PM local time and confirmed the event will be live-streamed as usual like before.

The official invite showed a laptop alongside the recently declared mobile devices, while an executive of Samsung confirmed in a separate press release the stage will see new laptops – the next generation Galaxy Books.

Corporate EVP & Head of New Computing R&D Team Hark-sang Kim revealed upcoming Galaxy Book devices will be assembled by Samsung and Intel, meaning we should expect laptops with Intel CPUs.

Samsung test will “transcend device and OS,” and with the partnership of Microsoft for access to Office, OneDrive, and Outlook will go even further to “bring even more continuity to users”. The new Galaxy Books are coming with One UI Book 4 top and on Windows 11 – this is a lightly customized interface that should bring better cross-device multitasking.
